How to play Who’s the One?

  1. Choose your mix

Open Game settings to add players and choose prompt packs, session length, read-aloud, and optional challenges. Players, atmosphere, and sound are in this same panel.

  2. Listen, read, and point

Start a session. Tangle shows a question and can read it aloud. After the optional countdown, point together at the person you think fits the prompt.

  3. Call the result

Tap the selected player’s name. Choose It’s a tie for a shared result, or Nobody, Not applicable, or Skip prompt. There is no right answer to prove.

  4. Share a story and keep going

Try an optional challenge, swap it, or pass. Move to the next prompt when everyone is ready. Prompts do not repeat during a session.

Try these couples-game questions

The 48 starting prompts cover everyday habits, your relationship story, travel, food, funny moments, and romance. Mix packs to suit the people playing. Here are six questions already in the game:

  • Who takes longer to get ready?
  • Who proposed first?
  • Who is always ready for a trip?
  • Who always has room for dessert?
  • Who sends the most memes?
  • Who remembers the little things?

Make the session yours

Choose 5, 10, 20, or all available prompts. Edit existing questions, turn off ones you do not want, or add your own. Questions that do not fit your relationship can be skipped. A shorter pack ends once its available questions have been used.

Optional challenges can be drawn at random, chosen by the selected player, or switched off. Starting ideas include a sincere compliment, choosing a song, and sharing a favourite memory. You can edit the challenge list in Game settings. Drinks are optional and can be alcohol-free; no shot is required to play.

Read-aloud and local play

Automatic narration prefers an available on-device English (India) voice, then another suitable English voice. The 48 starting prompts also have bundled narration. Use Preview voice in Game settings to check your phone. Custom or edited prompts need a compatible on-device voice.

Play together on one phone, tablet, or computer. Custom questions and names stay in this browser, and Tangle does not send custom text to a remote speech service. The game supports installation and offline play after setup; these guide pages need a connection.

A few things you might ask

Is Who’s the One? only for couples?

It is designed for couples and can also be played by 2–8 consenting adults on one device. Choose packs that suit your group and skip questions that do not apply.

Is this a drinking game?

It can include your own optional drink choices or challenges, but drinking is not needed. Alcohol-free drinks work, and every challenge can be passed.

Can I add my own questions?

Yes. Game settings lets you add, edit, enable, or disable prompts locally, with up to 120 prompts in total.

Does the app keep a score?

There is no winning score. You select the person who fits each prompt, and recent prompt results remain available during the open session.

GOOD COMPANY. A LITTLE CHANCE.

Make a little moment of it.
