How to play the couples dice game
Make the room yours
Open Game settings to add player names, choose the atmosphere and sound, and edit your dice. The starting players are Player A and Player B.
Roll and read together
Tap Roll the dice. Three animated dice tumble and reveal a body area, an activity, and a duration. On a computer you can also press Space.
Keep a result or try again
Use Hold beneath a die to keep its result while rolling the other dice. Roll again keeps the current player’s turn. Release at least one die before rolling.
Pass when you are ready
Tap Next person to pass the turn. Anyone can change a result, skip an activity, or stop. A roll is a suggestion; agree together before doing anything.
What is on the three dice?
The starting body-area die has 8 faces, the activity die has 6, and the time die has 6: 288 possible combinations. Body areas include hands, cheeks, forehead, and shoulders. Activities include Kiss, Touch, and Massage. Durations range from 5 to 30 seconds.
For example, a roll might suggest a hand massage for 10 seconds or a kiss on the cheek for 5 seconds. You decide whether a combination suits both of you. There is no required action or score to chase.
In Game settings, rename each die, edit its face labels, and choose 4, 6, 8, 12, or 20 faces. A held die keeps its result until you release it. Recent rolls are available through the history button during the open session.
A date-night game on one device
Open the game on a phone, tablet, or computer and play together on the same screen. There is no account, subscription, or in-game purchase. This version does not connect remote players on separate phones.
Names and custom labels are saved in this browser. They do not sync between devices. You can install Tangle from a supported browser and play the games offline after Support confirms offline setup is complete. These guide pages need a connection.

Is the couples dice game free?
Yes. Both current Tangle games are free to play, with no account or payment needed.
Do we need physical dice?
No. The app rolls three animated dice and shows their results as text.
Can more than two people play?
Yes. Game settings supports 2–8 players. Names, atmosphere, and sound apply across the two games; the dice labels belong to the dice room.
Can we skip a dice result?
Always. Change, skip, or stop whenever someone wants. Tangle is intended for adults aged 18 and over playing by choice.
